A founding partner of the firm, Jonathan R. Levine is one of the most prominent family law attorneys in Atlanta. Since 1988, he has focused exclusively on family law, handling complex, high-asset cases. Jonathan also serves as a mediator and arbitrator in family law cases. He was named by Best Lawyers as 2021 Lawyer of the Year for family law in Atlanta. In addition, Jonathan is included in the 2024 Georgia Super Lawyers Top 100 list and achieved the prestigious Top 10 list for four straight years from 2016–2019. He was included in the National Law Journal’s Divorce, Trusts & Estates 2017 Trailblazers list. Jonathan’s honesty, compassion and professionalism, together with his proactive approach and superior results, have led to an extremely high level of client satisfaction and the trust of numerous professionals who refer him clients.
Jonathan is recognized as a leader in the profession and in the community. He is the current president of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a former chair of the Atlanta Bar Family Law Section, and is frequently asked to lecture to fellow attorneys on family law issues. He is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest peer review rating for legal ability and ethical standards. In 2016, Jonathan received the Georgia Coalition against Domestic Violence’s Collaborate Award, given each year to an individual who has demonstrated exemplary efforts in the movement to end violence against women. He served on the city of Sandy Springs board of ethics from 2016–2020.
